10 Side and End Tables We're Crazy About

Side tables are one of those grown-up furniture purchases. Growing up you never really think about how they make it into your home... they just exist. When you move out on your own and realize such things have to be purchased, it's comforting to know the options are endless, even in the eco-friendly category.

Here are a few options that we'd love see migrate into our own home, though the idea of them all in the same one is a little wacky. Is it ok to have a crush on a piece of furniture? I'm pretty sure I do on most of the ones below. Hopefully they don't have a date for homecoming!

1 Natural Tree Stump Side Table: for $199 from West Elm. Although this is simply a piece of nature it's been cured and will leave your home bug-free. This piece will last longer than you will and will turn into a cherished heirloom as it wears with use over the years.
2 Cast Iron Base Side Table : for $129 from West Elm. This piece has a small footprint and won't feel heavy against lighter furniture. It can be used next to furniture or off on its own out in a room. Either way, it's a look that will always be in style.
3 Frame Side Table: for $299 from Crate and Barrel. This stainless steel and walnut tabletop is finished with a light oil and handmade in the US—all good things! Use it in your living room or bedroom.
4 2 Jules Accent Tables : for $449 from Crate and Barrel. These tables are hand forged from sustainable materials for a look that can't be found in a factory. They feel a little French to me.
5 Breeze End Table: for $250.95 from Bellacor. This table is made with bamboo veneer and sustainable glue. The legs are stainless and give the piece a sleek look while keeping the piece unobtrusive.

6 David Stine Woodworking Coffee Table: for $575 from All Modern. This table is made from the trunk of a tree and has a commanding presence in a room. If you're looking for a green piece that isn't shy, this is the one for you!
7 Knoll Planter Side Table: starting at $692, this is a classic shape from a big name with an impressive environmental initiative. And although the price is a little higher, it will still be in style 100 years from now!
8 Linear Table: for $125 from Kitchen Source, this flat pack table takes very little to ship and doesn't even require tools to put it together.
9 Rekindle Side Table: for $151 from Bellacor. This eco-friendly option has modern looks and has a little weight to it without feeling like it will go crashing through the floor. It's a great piece to balance out a commanding sofa or wide open space.
10 3 Patio Side Tables: for $129 from CB2. These iron, recyclable tables are powder-coated and will never show water rings. Use them inside or outside.
