12 Times Target Products Looked Next Level

It wasn’t too long ago that I walked into my local Target on a grocery run, and, as it usually happens, ended up in the home decor section of the store before I even processed that I had left the cereal aisle. What once was just row after row of products was now set up like a mini department store and my heart started racing. Maybe it was the more “luxe” display of the lamps, furnishings and decor, but everything looked pretty next level. As a digital applause of sorts for the budget friendly retailer in honor of upping the ante of their home goods, here are 12 products that we think are worthy of a standing ovation.

Thick and plush with an eye-catching graphic pattern, this rug, like just about everything else by Nate Berkus, could easily be found at a high-end retailer for 10 times the price.

The first time I laid eyes on this wood and gold leaf side table, I had to have it (and it is in fact sitting in my living room.) The sculptural base is quick to garner admiration from many a guest that stops by, and it adds tremendous visual interest to the simple silhouette of my Lounge sofa from Crate & Barrel.

Of course brass is the bell of the decor ball as of late, but give it a hammered texture, and it takes on a timeless look that’ll outlast trends.

Thank you again, Nate Berkus, for a “huh, this is from Target?!?” product to add to our living rooms. Glossy black and gold is always a winning combination.

The gold, frosted glass and marble marriage, as well as the sleek styling, of this modern lamp jump starts my tachycardia in the best way possible.

I know this is just a whisk, but it’s a gold and wood whisk, which makes it the definition of next level (you know, for a whisk).

AERIN’s blue marbleized vase stole my heart when it first came out, but at $675, it also would likely steal the contents of my bank account. Enter Target’s groovy take, which is easy on the eyes and the wallet.
