Our mom could already run a thrift store out of her basement, and once we had a child, she’s slowly been bringing it over- starting with our old baby toys! So, the last thing we want to do is add to that clutter at Christmas.

Rookie Moms has some great ideas for completely clutter-free gifts including one we’ve been looking into- walking tours in your city. Other ideas include event tickets, restaurant discounts/gift certificates or a family portrait session.

You can also give of yourself. For example, I’m thinking of helping my parents paint a room that they just haven’t gotten to, or giving my mom a pedicure with my own two hands.
