13 Fun, DIY Halloween Crafts for Kids

Now that I've taken the year off of work to stay home with my girls, I've been on the hunt for fun activities to entertain my preschooler while I'm otherwise occupied with my baby. I usually try to involve her in whatever I'm doing - she loves to help with the dishes, vacuum, and assist with diaper changes, and we seriously have the best tea parties, but when I'm nursing a distractible five-month-old I need to bring out the big guns - arts and crafts. She's really into Halloween this year, so I've rounded up some spooktacular crafts that I think will fit the bill. Here are thirteen of my favorites:

1. Haunted House Halloween Cut-Out: Sarah Jane
2. Magnetic Haunted House DIY (Free Printable): A Lovely Lark
3. DIY Monster Claws: The Southern Institute
4.DIY Light-Up Cereal Box Spooky Houses: Handmade Charlotte
5. Acorn Pumpkins: All Dressed Up

6. Fill-in-the-Jack O'Lantern Faces Chalkboard Activity: The Artful Parent
7. Play Felt Pumpkin Patch: A Lovely Lark
8. Trash Bag Spiderwebs: How About Orange
9. Halloween Paper Bag Puppets: Make and Take
10. Paper Pumpkins: Scottsdale Moms Blog

11.Pasta Skeletons: Martha Stewart
Halloween Advent Calendar: Coterie
Toilet Paper Tube Halloween Creatures: Apartment Therapy
