2 Brooklyn Gardens by Nigel Rollings

We first read about Nigel Rollings when he designed a garden for a residence in Brooklyn Heights back in 2001. Now, we're taking a look at his portfolio and sharing it here for some lush summertime inspiration.

We especially love the detail in the first photo above. A planter box also acts as a railing on the wooden deck, which leads down through an overhead trellis to seating below. The planter as rail is a wonderful detail that brings some of the garden's lush beauty up close to the architectural features of the garden.

The images shown in this gallery are all from two residences in Brooklyn. Check out the portfolio at Nigel Rollings Landscape Design for more examples of his work from all over the city.
