I love the little things I come across that are design-oriented and a parenting tip all in one. At a certain age, kids may start to fear the dark. Here is one of the simplest (and cutest) solutions we've seen to help ease those fears.
Isa of Schlitzohren let her daughter paint a picture of her family right on the window blind to chase away nightmares. At night, her daughter can easily look over and see her sweet drawing and know that all is right with the world. Oh, and it's a great addition to all white window coverings. If you don't have a window near the bed, you can let your child do the same thing directly on the wall near their bed, or frame a picture they drew. For more photos, check out Schlitzohren.
