2006 MAK Architecture Tour

The MAK Architecture Tour is back, this time opening the doors to arguably the most iconic of all the Case Study Homes: Pierre Koenig’s hillside masterpiece, the Stahl House (aka Case Study House #22). The 2006 tour also includes Irving Gill’s 1917 built Morgan House and two R.M. Schindler residences, the Fitzpatrick House and the Kallis House and Studio, with more homes yet to be officially announced for the self-driving tour.

Like the hill on which the Koenig’s house is built upon, the $80 general public self driven tour admission is admittedly steep. But with 4 hours of your time donated as a tour docent, you’ll be rewarded with free admission for the architecture tour and the satisfaction knowing you’ve helped a good cause.
