Tubes may have been a thing of the past, but it sure does stimulate our retro obsession and tickles our DIY habit as well. The Areaware 2B Radio received some play here at Unplggd a while back, but it looks like they're really cutting down in production and lowering the price down to $300 (from the $550 when it was released last November).

Specs include a volume knob, a control knob for selecting AM, FM, and AUX if you wish to connect and iPod. There's also an output option if you wish to connect to an external recording or amplifying device via an RCA audio cable.

You can buy the 2B Vacuum Tube Radio for $300 right now from Amazon.com. Other retailers have it for $350, so this is the best price we can find for this lovely retro-inspired piece of analog goodness. So, grab one before all their stock runs dry!
