Seems like bicycles are on our minds today! Cycling is both a great method of transportation and an unbelievable way to exercise. However, when riding, your own personal safety and the safety of your equipment becomes important. As the cycling trend continue to grow, more and more people are looking for ways to solve these safety problems...

TiGr Bike Lock: Anyone the bikes in an urban area needs a a good lock to secure their bike. Traditionally locks are bulky, hard to carry, and don't secure both wheels and the frame at the same time. Like you, the guys behind TiGr have had many of the same problems with their locks, so they went out and created a convenient and secure lock that stows easily on your bike while you ride. If you are in the market for a new lock, think about supporting this clever Kickstarter project.

pHold iPhone Holder: While securing your bike is important for while you are not riding, securing your personal belongings, including your phone, is important while you are riding. If you happen to have an iPhone 4, then be sure to check out the Kickstarter project for the pHold. This intuitive design allows you access to your phone and all of the necessary ports and buttons so you can listen to music, receive a call, and follow a bike map all without having to stop.

Project Aura: Unlike the previous two, this is not a Kickstarter project (at least not yet). Instead it started as a school project between two Carnegie Mellon undergrads. This awesome idea helps keep you, the rider, safe at night be illuminating your bike so cars can easily identify you at night. Besides just lighting up your bike wheels, the Project Aura incorporates color and cool patterns to avoid an overly simplistic look.
