A few weeks ago over on Apartment Therapy, we shared a home tour of a local family of 4 in Kansas City. Their 3-story home might seem daunting for little legs, but the kids manage just fine and even enjoy this great place to have a few friends over for a sleepover. Each bed has a story and together they make for one lovely look!
Crissy Dastrup had a large home to furnish when she moved from Oklahoma to Missouri one year ago. With a small budget, she chose her pieces wisely and picked up these beds from a thrift store, garage sale and estate sale. Even though they aren't identical, some elbow grease and a little white paint make them look incredible.
Because she was able to score the beds at such a low price, her splurge for the room were the 3 colorful bed coverings from Anthropologie. This room is currently a 3rd floor playroom, packed with toy shelves and a small media center. It makes a great place to play and have a few friends spend the night.
After a month of small spaces and organization for close quarters, it's refreshing to see a large space being taken full advantage of! Look for a full playroom and kids room tour soon. Until then, hop over and take a peek at the rest of the home on Apartment Therapy Chicago.
