No need to shed any more tears over broken crayons at the bottom of the bin! We've collected a few favorite craft projects to make with those broken crayon pieces that your kid will love to help you with. They're just as beautiful (if not more) than a brand new boxed set.

1. Rainbow Toddler Crayons on Momtastic: Older kids can help melt and layer these colors for younger kids. These chunky toddler crayons are great for a toddler to learn correct writing grip. Plus, inching and poking is great exercise for their fine motor skills.

2. Crayon Valentines on The Long Thread: Melt crayons in heart shaped molds for a creative Valentine card and gift. Kids will love helping pick out the color combinations and decorating the card afterwards.

3. Melted Crayon Art on 52 Kitchen Adventures: A beautiful piece of artwork created from melting pieces of crayons with a blow dryer. Kids will love watching the wax melt, drip and harden onto the canvas.
