Like any other muscle, our brain needs exercise. And while most of us have heard this time and time again, we often continue with the same mundane tasks that consume our lives. Instead of continuing down this path, take control. Find time in your day - whether its 5 minutes or a half hour - to give your brain a little exercise. And with some great online games and apps, training your brain can be both fun and easy.

Qrank: If you are a trivia fiend then look no further than Qrank. Available in the Apple App Store and on Facebook (also coming soon to Android), this social trivia game will provide you with the quick 5 minute fix your brain needs. With new questions every day and different ranking systems, you will not only be keeping your brain active, but also fueling your competitive fire.

Lumosity: Available on the web and as an app for iOS and Andorid devices, Lumosity was developed by neuroscientists to help produce cognitive benefits. To help you exercise your brain, Lumosity has created a variety of games - and even a program - to keep each activity more exciting then the previous. Also, with the different programs available, Lumosity can help you increase memory or other aspects of the brain all in 15 minute increments.

Sudoku: This logic based puzzle has become a favorite amongst puzzle enthusiast over the past 5+ years. However, it is also a powerful tool for exercising your brain. Depending on the level of difficulty, Sudoku puzzles can take anywhere from 10 minutes to more than a half of an hour. These games can also be played in print, on the web or even on your iOS and Android smartphones. Depending on how much time you have, these fun little games can provide just the right amount of logical thinking to boost your brain power.
