With its colorful icons, tactile interface and intuitive controls, it's only natural that kids can quickly pick up on how an iPhone works. Here are some of our favorite iOS apps designed for preschoolers, to help them learn and have fun.
Tozzle ($1.99) is designed to keep kids busy with 39 puzzles of various types, including counting, spelling and matching shapes. Cute graphics add a lot of variety.
By helping a monkey pack its lunch in Monkey Preschool Lunchbox ($.99), kids get help learning colors, letters, matching and more.
Kids can learn to count using Shape Builder - Connect the Dots ($.99), which presents numbered dots that form a picture when they're all linked together.
Kids can get creative with this free, easy to use app from PBS Kids. Choose a pic from your camera's photo roll, pick a PBS Kids show (including Sesame Street, Arthur and Curious George) and add frames and accessories. Cute!
