On yesterday's beautiful day off, we went for an aimless walk that ended up in Dumbo. Stepping into Powerhouse Books, we poked around a bit and came across the book Brooklyn Modern on display.

Which, in turn, got us thinking of a few other NYC-centric home books that suck us in every time we crack their covers:
