What better way to bring "school" into the home than through the use of some cool chalkboard paint projects. We found 4 such projects that will help kids stay on task, keep organized and, well, even learn some stuff.

1. The Black Fern turned an old globe a beautiful interactive learning tool. Also see the crafterholic for their take on the same idea.

2. belle & sparrow {beautiful nest} added an old school "slate" to a new-again vintage school desk.

3. Martha Stewart created a cool Chalkboard Wall Calendar using custom chalkboard paint that if it were a weekly calendar it could be an excellent way to keep track of everyday's learning goals.

4. How about organizing all those school supplies in jars with reusable chalkboard labels? Here is some good news for those of you not in a DIY mood, badensgracewallart sells these labels on Etsy for $8 (set of 12).
