You've gone to "blade only" online but your housemates still hear the carnage here in the real world. Time to turn off your speakers and turn on some gaming headphones. We cull some of the best from the net for you to choose from... in no particular order.

Time was, you couldn't get a decent pair of headphones that also had a mike through which to scream "GET THE 4CK1N SNIPER!!!!!!!!", but all of that has changed.

We now have Major League Gaming, if you can believe it, and along with full time salaries for those at the top, there is a whole slew of equipment that has developed along with it.

To start with, the official headset of MLG:
Astro's A40:

Turtle Beach Earforce X-41 Wireless:
$150
Turtle Beach always comes up when people talk gaming 'phones.

Tritton AX pro:
$150
A fav of pro gamers everywhere.

Psyko PC51V1 5.1 PC Gaming Headset System:
$300
A cool concept where the speakers are on top of your head and then channeled down to your ears through waveguides. At 3 hundy, more expensive than the others but apparently awesome.

Creative HS-1000 Fatal1ty:
$50
A little less expensive than some of the others and a long standing favorite in the community. Named after a famous gamer which must mean something.

"B!@tch you deaaaad!"... ahhhh the seriousness of gaming.
