If you are spending a lot of time indoors because of the pollen, then odds are that hay fever is an issue. Although there's less pollen in the air in the summer, allergens can be an issue for a lot of people. That's why we've put together this list of interesting air purifiers.

1. Plain Air Air Purifier
Plain Air was created by Paris-based designer Patrick Norguet for TLV. The circular air purifier is wall-mounted. It sucks air through vents situated at the top and expels it through a funnel in the front.

2. Staedler Form Air Purifier
This rectangle-shaped air purifier is called the Viktor. There is also a thin version named Henry. The really cool thing is that they aren't too expensive and that they have a good energy rating. They'll cost you between $100 and $180 each and are available at Amazon.

3. Oreck ProShield Plus Air Purifier
It looks like a PS2, but is whisper-quiet. This air purifier is definitely an interesting option if air quality is a real concern for you. We've reviewed this air purifier in our test lab here.

4. IKEA Patrull Air Purifier
It won't be long before IKEA takes on other types of electronics. Although this air purifier is interesting, it's currently available in Sweden. Hopefully, we'll have it in the US pretty soon.

5. Rabbit BioGS Air Purifier
The Rabbit BioGS looks interesting and works well. Some of our readers have chimed in and said that they recommend it. It's available on Amazon.
