A Cardboard Apartment by Don Lucho

It gives us inexplicable pleasure to see spaces and objects meticulously constructed from unexpected materials — and like the rooms we've seen in the past made from tin foil and paper, this particularly artistic cardboard apartment by Chilean artist Don Lucho has the same irresistible draw.

The detail in Lucho's work — down to the pairs of dirty socks and underwear on the bedroom floor — makes for a playful environment that also manages to look quite beautiful. Lucho has also created crashed cars and airplanes from cardboard which were installed on the streets of Santiago, Chile. View more of Don Lucho's work on his flickr.
