What's that... whenever you lick your chair, the taste sensation isn't satisfying? That's probably because it's not a rainbow-colored lollipop chair. For anyone who's ever wanted a seat that really sticks to you when you sit on it, Dutch-German designer Pieter Brenner (who looks strangely like Willie Wonka and wears a top hat) brings you the Sugarchair.

You might be wondering why someone would make a chair out of sugar. Pieter Brenner provides some helpful answers on his site, such as: "Sugar is the symbol of capitalism. Why the hell are your jeans not made out of sugar?"

While it's not the most practical design (unless you're looking for a better way to lure ants into your dining room), that might not be the point. Brenner says, "I wanted to show that we still are able to play."

As you eat away at your chair, you change its shape. "You can lick the back of my chair, then you have a table," Brenner explains.
