A Clean and Simple Office Nook

As working from home becomes more common, so does the problem of carving out office space. Isabel saw opportunity to create an office in her living room that would give her her own workspace while allowing her to spend time with her family.

From Isabel: This project is about renovating my small work corner at home. I work at home daily but don’t have a room for it, so I like to work in the living room to share some time with my family.

I used to work in a small desk between the sofa and dining table but since we had this space already built in, I thought I could have a small made to measure space that would leave the living room feeling much more airy.

The project was really low cost: a thick pine board cut into three pieces, wood varnish, some wallpaper and a bit of paint. And it all took about 10 days to finish.
