The French website Inside Closet will fill you with jealousy on multiple fronts, because all the people featured on it somehow have both beautiful clothes and beautiful homes. (It's almost too much, but all these people are French so you have to remind yourself that this sort of thing comes easily to them.) Case in point: Béatrice's super stylish apartment in Paris' 3rd arrondissement.
It doesn't hurt that the space itself is gorgeous, with its lovely old floors, huge casement windows, and most of all those gorgeous moldings. On top of this Béatrice has added some understated modern pieces, and lots and lots of color.
It's refreshing to see a space like this painted in colors — although most people leave apartments like this white, Béatrice has chosen to layer in panes of color (as in the living/dining room) or paint whole rooms in unusual combinations that serve to bring out the apartment's innate beauty even more.
In the kitchen, a chiffon yellow ceiling (and a few yellow accents) add a bit of liveliness to a mostly grey space.
The bedroom is painted in a deep blue that's both gorgeous and restful. The dark walls seem to envelop you, and the light pink ceiling (an unexpected but welcome choice) adds a light touch.
