Our house in the north of Israel overlooks the mountains and the Mediterranean sea in a beautiful area with a mixed population. It was my labor of love combining an open wood beam high vaulted ceiling, concrete floors and lots of mix-matched furniture and wall art. Ethnic and modern, bohemian, industrial all mixed up.
Upstairs is the kitchen and living room. Downstairs are the bedrooms and down another half flight is the family TV room.
The house is built into the side of a hill. Kids bedrooms each have their own style to reflect what they are into. I am English, my husband is from Hong Kong and the kids were born here.
