I’m personally a huge fan of gold, ornate mirrors (bonus points if they’re actually vintage like the one above) because they work so well in many different spaces, always make a major impact, and can be styled with clever accents. I’ve propped gold mirror above a fireplace, used them in my bathroom in lieu of a medicine cabinet, and placed them atop a desk for a glam vanity setup.

This particular mirror is quite large, measuring 38.5 inches high, so it’s bound to stand out no matter where you hang (or lean) it. This time of year, it would be gorgeous adorned with a wreath or garland, but it also looks stunning and sophisticated on its own.

I think this piece would look particularly beautiful in a living room with velvet furniture–perhaps a navy or forest green sofa–along with an oriental rug and a brass coffee table. It would also work wonderfully in an entryway, hung above a long console table. Truly, though, the styling possibilities are endless! Let us know where and how you would display this piece.
