The Human Hamster Wheel may be the most insane standing desk created to date. Is it crazy or genius? You decide:

The desk was invented by Pier 9 Artist-in-Residence Robb Godshaw and Instructables Developer Will Doenlen. The folks at Instructables have offered up complete building instructions for anyone that wants to try it out. As you can see in the video, the idea is that the wood circle just keeps moving and a desk sort of rests in it with the legs on the outside of the wheel, allowing the user to burn calories while working.

While I have heard of treadmill desks, this is definitely the first time I've seen a moving desk quite this large. I can't imagine many homes or offices having room for it, though it is quite the imaginative option for those who are concerned about sitting too much.
