Logitech Washable Keyboard

Some care, some don't...but even if germs on the keyboard aren't a concern, nobody likes a dirty, grimy keyboard. And let's be frank, they can get dirty pretty quick (tip: Magic Sponge followed by a lightly moistened paper towel with hand sanitizer). But what if you could just unplug and dunk your whole keyboard into the sink and really give it a satisfyingly thorough wash? The full-size K310's laser printed and UV keyboard keys are tough and water/fade proof, offering an ideal peripheral for a household of regular crumbs, spills, and smudges (aka parent-friendly)...

It's worth noting the Logitech Washable Keyboard K310 is a full-size model, but has a few features that may take getting used to for certain users. Inside are silicone dome switches, the key mechanism offering a slightly different key-press feel compared to chiclet or other mechanical switches; pressing a key feels somewhere inbetween a quiet-style keyboard and a traditional modern corded model. The other noticeable detail is the height of the keys themselves, which are few millimeters higher than comparable keyboards. These came neither as a plus or minus in actual use, just a little different upon initial use.

The Logitech Washable Keyboard K310 is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7, with twelve hot keys to access e-mail, launch your browser, play button, volume control, and application launching. It also works fine plugged into Mac systems, but out of the box function controls aren't available.
