A Kitchen Island that Boasts Three Burner Types

There's been plenty of debate over what the best type of range to cook over is. Some cooks won't waiver from the power of gas, while others are embracing the new technology of induction, but who's to say you have to choose? Why not cook with the best of both worlds?

In this Swedish kitchen, a standalone island holds a single gas burner, grill top, and small induction range. Depending on the heating needs of your dish, you can choose the best place to set your pot, pan, or wok.

The grill top allows the homeowner to easily sear, char, or barbecue veggies and meats without the luxury of a yard to place a BBQ. A stainless steel AEG/Electrolux overhead vent ensures the rest of the home doesn't smell like the 4th of July.

The EVOline Port pops up when needed to power up small appliances. While EVOline seems to only be available overseas, you can get something similiar, like Mockett's Power Grommet, here in the states.
