This little Paris apartment (25 square meters, or 269 square feet) is proof, if you needed it, that living in a small space doesn't have to mean skimping on style.
French designer Marianne Evennou, who decked out this little apartment with just the right mix of charming antiques, is no stranger to small spaces. She's designed two even smaller Parisian apartments, which you can see here and here, and there are plenty more in her portfolio.
For this space, she created a little entryway with a partition wall immediately inside the front door. This creates a bit of a separation between this little apartment and the outside world, a place to pause and decompress (and maybe hang up your coat). Right next to the entryway is the curtained bed nook, which creates a little privacy while taking up minimal floor space.
The main space isn't large, but Marianne has created a feeling of spaciousness by keeping the furnishings light, and drawing all the seating together into a group in the middle of the room. Moody colors set off the kitchen nook and add a bit of style.
So there you have it: in less than 300 square feet, a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, and even a little dining area. It's all wonderfully efficient, and wonderfully Parisian.
You can see more of this apartment, and more of Marianne's work, on her website.
