This room needed to accommodate two boys. The client wanted the bed size upgraded from twin to at least full size beds. We couldn't fit two full size beds without demolishing the closet, so thats what we did.

Removing the closet allowed for a built-in bench seat, open cubbies, and room for a hanging closet. I wanted to create a modern mountain aesthetic for a boys bedroom. My client is from New York and her home is in Park City, so I wanted to combine NY fashion and mountain warmth to create this aesthetic.

The end result was a larger much improved floor plan. The boys can cozy up in the reading nook or pull toys from their built-in cubby storage.

Thanks, Amber!
