When it comes to picking out the cord management plan that works for you and your home, we say you can't go wrong with a headphone-wire strategy. Anything that works for the epic tangle of iPod earbuds will surely work to keep any other tangles around your place at bay. We're loving this plan that uses inexpensive paracord!

Slipping your cords inside of hollow, woven nylon paracord makes them magically immune to tangles. But, as you might have guessed (or seen in the pictures), you'll have to cut (and re-attach) the wires to get the project finished.

But if you're brave (and knowledgeable—we can't forget knowledgeable) enough to hack at your cords, the finished product—which uses the paracord along with heat shrink tubing—has a surprisingly professional look.
