Lazy Days: A Quick Tip to Avoid Ironing

Lazy Days: A Quick Tip to Avoid Ironing

When summer heat really sets in, a certain amount of seasonal torpidity inevitably accompanies it. One thing I (almost) can't be bothered to do is iron. I've come up with an energy- and time-saving, lazy person's alternative.

These days, for the most part, I get wrinkles out of clothes using the spray bottle I keep near my ironing board. A fine mist of water, a gentle pat of the fabric, and the day's heat are all it takes. This cheat works best for getting out wrinkles caused by folding rather than, say, giving a shirt a crisp collar, but it does the trick for me most mornings.
