A Room Inspired By Moonrise Kingdom

If you saw Moonrise Kingdom and, like me, fell in love with the bright, saturated colors and camp accessories, then you probably also dream of a living room inspired by the movie.

Wes Anderson's distinctive style has always embraced the quirky, and Moonrise Kingdom follows suit with its love story between a coonskin cap-wearing boy and binocular-loving girl. It's set in the mid 60's so Anderson's signature palette of warm tones and meticulous set dressing is even cooler with a vintage flair.

1.Not many people could pull of a Daniel Boon Coontail Cap as well as Sam.
2.The Wood and Crystal Chandelier from Plantation has a rustic feel but the simple silhouette makes it chic.
3.Bushnell Falcon binoculars are key to camp spying.
4.A cool Braided Rug from Urban Outfitters anchors the golden color palette.
5. The Modern Chair from Urban Outfitters is the perfect 60's seating.
6.The West Elm Tree Stump table is as close to camping as you can get indoors.
7.The bright piping on this CB2 Club Chair reminds me of the fun pops of red throughout the movie.
8.A Portable USB Turntable at Urban Outfitters is a modern version of the classic.
9.The Hudson Bay Point Blanket from L.L.Bean is the ultimate camp accessory.
