We're not sure who decided that all scales have to be square and extremely cheesy and ugly &mdash but someone did and we're a little annoyed. If we were in the market for a scale (we're not) we'd hope to find one that wasn't run-of-the-mill boring. Perhaps a rug that thinks it is a scale?
Kwan Sunman is the mastermind behind this concept scale called Rug with Scale. Not only is the scale aesthetically pleasing, but it also has a few key characteristics under its belt.
The rug can be removed for cleaning or to simply switch out. That's a key design feature because not everyone is going to want a faux fur rug. It's also great that they opted for fabric that is washable, so you don't wrack up erroneous charges throughout its lifetime.
The scale itself is great for people who are trying to shed a few pounds. It keeps track of your past weight, your current weight, and your goal weight. Not only is that a constant reminder, it's also a constant motivation.
The Rug with Scale is just a concept for now, but we're really hoping it actually comes to fruition.
