Though I've always loved the idea of camping, I've yet to shake my fear of the actual practice, instilled in me from wet, buggy summers at Girl Scout camp and The Blair Witch Project. And then there's this dreamy campsite set up by two brothers on the French island of Yeu featured on Marie Claire Maison that makes roughing it look quite grand.
While there's certainly nothing luxurious in the spare campsite that is furnished with military tents, recycled palettes and vintage chairs, the effortless simplicity coupled with the romantic location — a tiny island off the western coast of France — make the whole experience look pretty darn irresistible.
