A Stationery and School Themed Birthday Party

How cool is a 7-year old girl who asks not for a Disney princess birthday party, but instead for a stationery and school themed one? She's super cool. Just look at how fun, creative, and colorful this celebration turned out.

Perhaps some moms would've been stumped by the request, but Emily is the daughter of LiEr, and when it comes to kid-friendly, awesome handmade fun, LiEr is unstumpable. Just look at what she came up with. There were handmade apple shaped pinatas for smashing. The kids made easels out of pizza boxes that have a chalkboard on one side and a dry erase board on the other. All the markers, erasers, and chalk can be stored inside. Cardboard tubes decorated as giant pencils were filled with fun school supplies and hid around the yard for a treasure hunt. The kids also got sweet little handmade notebooks, and LiEr even made them each a school satchel with Color Me fabric so that the kids could each decorate their bags.
