If you can’t get enough of the unicorn trend (which has launched a full assault on the internet with everything from multi-colored frappuccinos to shimmering makeup palettes), come to Brooklyn.

Brooklyn Owl, an online retailer that just opened a brick-and-mortar location in Park Slope, specializes in sparkly unicorn horn headbands made for children, adults, and pets for “magic you can wear.”

In 2010, owner Annie Bruce decided to turn wearable unicorn horns into a reality after her daughter Bee came with up with the idea for her 4th birthday. While Annie and her team also make clothing, hair clips and more, she’s become synonymous with unicorns.

Brooklyn Owl specializes in whimsy, featuring handcrafted horns, reminiscent of a towering cone of soft serve ice cream, that come in a rainbow of shades — like pink, purple, metallic silver and gold and more.

Each colorful horn is supported by an elastic headband and come in several sizes including mini (approx. 1.7″), tween (3.5″), original (5″), giant / pony (8″), and horse (11.5″).

While you can find Bruce’s creations in her Etsy shop and at Nordstrom, a magical experience awaits those visiting the physical store. Upon arrival, shoppers receive a list of instructions to help them go from “human being to unicorn being,” DNA Info reports. “The metamorphosis concludes with a magic mirror that lights up and talks to shoppers, congratulating them on completing the journey.”

While Bruce’s store might elicit some groans from those tired of seeing the unicorn trend all over their Instagram feeds, her goal is clear.

“Life is too hard, people are tired — I like that it creates joy in people’s lives,” Bruce said. “What we’re really trying to do is help kids feel special and magical like they are, like unicorns are,” she told DNAInfo.

Prices range from $14.00 to $50.00.

Brooklyn Owl is located at 252 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn.
