A Teeny Tiny Salvaged Garden Shed

A Teeny Tiny Salvaged Garden Shed

Having any kind of storage is a gardener's dream, and this gorgeous example shows you don't need a lot of space to make it happen. A This Old House reader made his very own shed using salvaged good — it functions as a storage space, yard divider and mudroom and is less than 13-square-feet!

The This Old House reader wanted a storage shed, but decided by putting a second door on the back, it could have a second function as pass through divider between the flower garden and vegetable garden. It was all made by hand — here are the details:

  • Made from a salvaged divided-light door, an antique stained-glass window, and a hand-built pine door
  • Includes a shoe-changing bench, which folds up and out of the way
  • The floor is made from square spindles spaced so that dirt falls through
