A Wallpaper Filled with Optical Illusions
This may be the best use of wallpaper and lighting we’ve ever seen. Above, you’ll see various images, but what you may not have realized is that what you’re looking at is a single piece of wallpaper, whose pattern changes based on the color of the light source shining on it.
RGB is a collection of wallpapers designed by Milan based design duo Francesco Rugi and Silvia Quintanilla, a.k.a. Carnovsky, for Italian wallpaper company Jannelli & Volpi. The wallpapers have three series of illustrations printed on them, one on top of the other. Each illustration is printed in a specific hue, so that when either a red, green, or blue light is shown on them all but one of the drawings appears.
