The graphic designer in me ensures that I am essentially obsessed with anything type related (unless it is comprised of Comic Sans or Papyrus...sorry James Cameron). And the furniture designer wannabe in me maintains a very soft spot in my heart for beautifully designed chairs. So imagine my delight when I discovered chairs made out of letters. And not just a few letters, there's a chair for every letter of the alphabet. Swoon!

Designed by Rotterdam designer Roeland Otten, the prototypes for the ABChairs are made of lacquered MDF with hopes to eventually produce them out of LDPE plastic so that they will be lighter in weight, more durable and suitable for outdoor use. Smaller sizes could also be used for children's interiors.
