During our Escapes month on Ohdeedoh, we are posting great photos and tips for traveling with children from our readers. Please check here for all the details. The first twenty submissions posted will receive the official AT bib. Hope to hear from you soon.

Elizabeth took her 9-month-old son to Belgium and here he is enjoying the subway. She proudly exclaims, "He loved Belgium and Belgium loved him! He was at a super crawly, bald, gummy, friendly stage and we were amazed at how open people were, asking about him and playing with him and telling us about their own kids." She had these tips to offer...

Your favorite baby or child-friendly activity there:

Eating at street carts (lots of French fries and waffles!) was a great way to deal with jet-lagged mealtimes and having a squirmy baby that wouldn't sit still in restaurants.

Your best tip or words of wisdom for traveling with kids:

Don't bring a stroller to Europe. The cobbles and stairs everywhere made our stroller unbearable, and we ended up just carrying the kid and putting our bag in the stroller. We should have gone with the sling.

Your favorite way to make it feel like home:

We brought my iPod and speakers for lullabies we play at home so that we could re-create his normal sleeping environment as much as possible.

An item you MUST take with you when traveling: Two key toys: a new one for novelty and an old favorite for security.
