Thor loved interacting with all the people in the hotels and restaurants, and the rhythm of the stroller wheels on the old cobblestone streets of Lisbon.
Your best tip or words of wisdom for traveling with kids:
Our advice would be to make plans around their "best times." We took advantage of lunch time for our large, more adventurous dining out experiences and then brought back local delicacies, like vino verde, cheeses, breads and pastries, for hotel blanket picnics during the more fussy dinnertime evening hours when she wanted to play rather than be contained.

An item you MUST take with you when traveling:
An infant car seat. She slept peacefully on the flights and was safely contained when we rented a car to drive north into Porto.
