082410cleaningtip.jpgI wouldn't use (isopropyl) alcohol on a screen, as it may dissolve and therefore ruin coatings. This is especially true with the oleophobic coatings of newer iOS devices. For screens, turn the device off, let it cool to room temperature, and use distilled water on a clean microfiber cloth. When cleaning your microfiber cloths, don't use fabric softeners as it binds up the fibers and reduces their cleaning ability.
