For many of us, crossing several popular destinations off a travel bucket list in a single trip sounds like the stuff of dreams – or lottery wins. One ticket on Amtrak’s direct California Zephyr and Lake Shore Limited routes gets you a seat in the train, and travelers who absolutely cannot get enough of the scenic sights also have the option of extending their trip to 15 days for $429.
