This castle filled the entire window. It was made by Ann Wood, a Brooklyn artist.

We’re a sucker for little fantasy buildings like this. Sometimes we feel like we could use a little magic in our lives. The back of the castle has little holes that you can peak through to see ghosts at a ball, an enchanted horse in a tower, and Miss Haversham held prisoner in a tower. The paper mache mushrooms surrounding the castle are based on the spore project design by Doug Rhodehamel. If you’re crafty, there’s a how-to on his site, and you can try your hand at making your own mushrooms.
