Airstream’s Latest Model Is This Sleek Camper Van
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to live the nomadic life in an Airstream, there’s a sleek, new version of the uber popular campers that will tempt you to trade in your house keys and partake in the adventures of #vanlife.
The Class B Interstate Nineteen measures 19 feet, which means a no-hassle parking experience. A Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 functions as the vehicle’s supporting frame.
A small yet functional kitchen contains a sink, ample countertop space and a two-burner cooktop. The interior design is the epitome of maximizing small spaces, evident by its shower, bath and toilet, mirror and retractable clothes line. At the back of the camper, there’s a power sofa that converts into a bed, allowing the vehicle to comfortably accommodate two people. Once the bed is tucked way, the space can be utilized for eating or simply hanging out and enjoying life on the road.
Other amenities that guarantee you’ll be traveling in comfort include high-end cabinetry and flooring, LED lighting, electric window shades, USB charging ports, a ceiling fan that’s outfitted with a rain sensor and a push-button four-wheel drive function.
In the event that van fever drives occupants outside of the confines of the camper’s luxe, cozy interior, there’s an exterior awning, screens and an outdoor shower freshening up and getting some fresh outdoorsy air.
The Interstate Nineteen starts at $149,240. The standard version includes a water heater, an LP gas detector along with a smoke and CO₂ alarm, fire extinguisher and first aid kit; touch screen electronic controls; an omni-directional TV antenna; cable TV outlets/hookups; 24/7 roadside assistance, 250-watt solar power and more.
The camper is available in three colors with multiple shades available for seats as well. The exterior paint comes in black, white or silver.
