If you’re anything like me, you’ve been eyeing those Airstream trailer hotels for quite some time now but haven’t had the gall to just book a stay and go already. So the fact that there’s yet another of these super cool spots in the works is a sign from the universe that we (me and all the other vacation procrastinators out there) should pack our bags and prepare to spend a few fabulous nights in a vintage trailer.

To be more specific, The Range Vintage Trailer Resort in Bristol, TX looks like the perfect place to get acquainted with these stylishly renovated accommodations.  Currently winding down its fundraising efforts on Kickstarter, the project is in its final stages of construction. When all is said and done, the 30-acre, Airstream and vintage trailer-only resort will host nine trailers, but there will also be space available for visitors who prefer to bring their own trailers.

Comprised of 20 sites in total, Range Vintage will ensure that guests have ample personal space and privacy achieved through the careful placement of the trailers. Each site has a private entrance that leads to a walking trail, plus there are two bass-filled ponds for fishing, wi-fi, an on-site restaurant, a coffee shop and a store. There are also restrooms and shower facilities, a place to do laundry and a dog park and playground for the kiddos and fur babies to make the most of their trailer resort experience.

Keeping in line with the repurposing theme of the project, the owners have made great efforts to prioritize sustainability by reusing materials and working to minimize the resort’s environmental impact.

The Range Vintage Trailer Resort is a short drive south of Dallas, so if you’re planning to be in the area or just want to support a cool project, check out the Kickstarter page for a list of pledge options.
