The first day of winter is Dec. 21, but a lot of us have been experiencing cold, winter-like weather for a few weeks already. But with Alaska Airline’s new BOGO flight deal, there’s something to look forward to if you’re already over being chilly—escaping it all and going on vacation.

Starting today, Alaska Airlines is holding a two-day sale that allows you to buy a ticket and then get one for free—seriously. That means you and a travel buddy can split the cost of only one ticket and go on that trip you’ve been putting off. The deal applies to nonstop flights between Jan. 7 and Feb. 12 2020, many of which depart from major airports across the country.

If you’re leaving from the East Coast, you can travel to places like Oakland (OAK), Los Angeles (LAX), Portland (PDX), San Francisco (SFO), San Jose (SJC), or Seattle (SEA). On the West Coast, you have the reverse East Coast destinations plus some locations in Hawaii. See all the specific travel routes that are valid for this deal here

There are just a few catches to keep in mind. If you’re looking at flights to cities in Hawaii, you must fly on Monday through Wednesday and depart from Hawaii Tuesday through Thursday. For all other destinations, you can travel on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Also, in order to redeem the BOGO deal, you need to buy two tickets for the same flight—so unfortunately you won’t be able to get two plane tickets for yourself on different occasions. However, like we mentioned above, you can finally take that winter getaway with a loved one!

But you have to act fast as this deal runs only until 11:59 p.m. PT on Dec. 20, 2019. However, if you’ve been dreading the winter cold, we have no doubt that you already have a getaway in mind.
