Aldi Is Selling Sparkly Succulents
It’s officially time to start decorating for the holidays, and thanks to a new Aldi offering, even your plants can look merry and bright.
She also included plenty of succulent care pointers in the caption, so even the newest plant parents can feel confident taking these glittery succulents home.
“Bright indirect light near an east or south window is best,” Aldi Plant Lady wrote. “Low humidity is fine for these drought-tolerant succulents!”
She added that keeping succulents in 55 to 80-degree homes is ideal, while reminding shoppers that since they can be toxic, it’s best to keep the plants away from pets and children. Aldi Plant Lady also touched on what she called the “most important part” of succulent care: Water.
“Water only when the soil is completely dry. The soil should be dry from the top and the bottom,” she noted. “You may also want to use a terracotta pot with your succulents to help the soil dry out faster and prevent root rot.”
You can check your local Aldi to see if they have glittery succulents waiting for you to add to your decor during the holiday season and beyond. Prices may vary per store. In the meantime, the sky’s the limit to what you might find at your local store.
