A gift is a gift! Your building staff is going to appreciate the gesture (and especially the cash) no matter when it comes. In fact, they may even appreciate it more now, since it will be out of the blue rather than with a wave of other cards. Include a nice note and say something like, "Sorry for the delay!" along with your personal message. No need to go into too much detail, just be your lovely self and that's what they'll remember, not how late your gift was.
