This All-Clad Sale Is the Best Kept Secret for Super Fancy Cookware at Insane Discounts
All-Clad is one of the gold standards for high-quality cookware. The company makes both stainless-steel and non-stick cookware that’s designed to heat more evenly, last longer, and do more. (Many pieces are safe for stovetop and oven). The only downside? These investment pieces have investment price tags to match. Which is why we are such fans of their VIP Factory Seconds sale.
Hosted through Home and Cook Sales, you can get as much as 76% off. To access the sale, you just have to use code “ACJVIP18.” The sale has been extended this time through Sunday, June 24, at midnight EST.
How did the prices get so low? The stock is all factory seconds, meaning they have minor cosmetic imperfections that make then ineligible to sell at full price. Whatever the dents and scratches are, however, do not affect the performance of the products. (Personally, all my All-Clad has been purchased from sales past and I haven’t even been able to find where the scratches are on most pieces). Do keep in mind, however, that since this is a huge sale all purchases are final.
The event happens on a semi-quarterly basis (in other words, you gotta keep an eye out) and the stock and markdown varies from sale to sale. All-Clad makes several different lines of cookware, which can get confusing, but generally speaking the classic stainless collection will have everything you need and is the least expensive. Standbys like the 8-inch fry pan for $55 (originally $95) are available, and a 3-quart stainless steal sauté pan, a hero of one-dish weeknight dinners, is $70, down from $225.
From there it just gets fancier, with five-ply construction in the Copper Core and D5 brushed cookware collections, and so on. It comes down to preference and budget to which ones you pick, but cooking nerds might also want to note that the TK collection is released as part of a collaboration with the inimitable Thomas Keller.
This sale is organized differently from past factory seconds sales in that it also places largest discounts at the top. While cookware sets are the deepest discounts percentage-wise, they also can just be full of things you don’t really need. For savings over 75% off, however, the lasagna pan with oven mitts is a great buy ($40, all the way down from $170). But just about whatever you do choose to buy, from stock pots that could serve an army all the way down to the quaint, yet decadent, butter warmer, you’re getting a great deal on products handcrafted in the USA that will last you for years to come.
