If you’ve been following along with Amada Seyfried’s quarantine craft page (otherwise known as her Instagram account), then you’ve probably been awed by the amount of crocheting she’s been doing. In fact, Seyfried has made an entire granny square quilt, a large rainbow doily, and she’s even ventured into good old-fashioned quilting. But if you thought she’d stop at two-dimensional projects, you underestimate her.

Seyfriend crocheted a 3D leek for her friend’s birthday (her friend is a personal chef) and simultaneously opened her followers’ eyes to the world of crochet gardening. A warning: this rabbit hole is deep.

The “Mamma Mia” actress tagged the creator of the crocheted leek pattern, Russian crochet enthusiast Mariya of Mary Brown Crafts on Etsy. Mariya sells a variety of Amigurumi crochet patterns—Japanese-style stuffed crochet or knitted critters and toys—on her Etsy shop, including an entire “Play Food” line filled with various fruits, berries, fungi, and veggies, including, of course, leeks.

And all of her play food patterns make incredible crochet toys that look good enough to eat. You can even buy entire kits that will give you full crocheted meals like breakfast (complete with eggs, avocado slices, and toast), and this adorable sushi set (teapot included). Those with a sweet tooth will also love Mariya’s dessert patterns. Chocolate-covered strawberries anyone?

Mariya’s patterns are available for purchase and instant download through her Etsy shop, and many of her patterns are made for those just starting out in crochet, so there’s no need to have Seyfried’s pro crochet skills.
